What is ADAS?
These systems use automated technology, such as sensors and cameras, to detect nearby obstacles or driver errors and respond accordingly. ADAS can include features like Adaptive Cruise, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
How to tell if your car is equipped with any of these systems
If your windshield has a similar clear triangle shape on the outside as pictured. Then you have advanced safety systems in your vehicle, or if you get a warning light on your dash when you cross either the center line or outside line.
Dealer Recommendations
Vehicle manufacturers recommend you have your safety systems recalibrated when you have a windshield replaced, tires installed, wheel alignment, or any type of front-end work done. Any change to how your vehicle goes down the road, or installing a windshield can change the camera angle.
Cost
When having a windshield replaced most insurance companies will cover the cost of having the safety systems recalibrated. We also offer competitive rates when our customers have to pay for this service.
Calibration Service
We our calibration service is done by our own certified technicians. Our system is state of the art and is constantly updated to ensure the calibration is done successfully. We do our calibrations in shop to provide the proper environment and lighting that's needed for the camera to see the targets.
